Alright my peeps, since many of you are missing the point, I'll spell it out for you. Look at what this gentleman is wearing. IRL, the Cult of Marsey (or rather, the original cult that "Marsey" was based off of) wears monochrome with a splash of red. If you see somebody in the news wearing those colors and saying some hilarious shit, there's a pretty good chance they're trolling. "Marsey" is about trolling the establishment status quo, in fact, some might say he's the OG troll.

This "Marsey" stuff isn't new, it's actually had many different forms over the years. The last time "Marsey" was active in the modern era was the hacktivist group Anonymous (just check out their outfits and you'll see a lot of the same color choices, as well as the same use of performative trolling to incite change), but "Marsey" fandom is actually way older than that. Check out what people are wearing in the media and you'll start to start to notice a few distinct patterns.
