Frick working for the military. We both signed a contract and like heck I'm ever going to do more than the bare minimum.

I don't give a frick if others have to pick up my slack when I'm not scheduled. Drop it off on my desk when I officially start and expect it to land on your desk with 3x as much work because you pissed me off. This is a medical lab, why try to piss off the clinical director who will piss off the PI and come full circle to you resulting in both of us being angry and if not completed we talk to the base commander if we're sufficiently angry?

The VA clinic is one of my sites but other than that I don't know anything about military healthcare outside of the insurance coverage. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I do think he's a healthcare provider, I'm just pretty sure he's a nurse and not a doctor.

Edit. My sister (who is a major now in the reserves 💅🏻) said it's possible

Edit 2: she pwned him (I call my sister “mom” affectionately)

Also to add on to that, a lowly ranked major would never be allowed security clearance to our level of research or our names. At best, she would hear a name but we never discuss research outside of high level military and ourselves. There's a reason we only are allowed to state our position and never anything about our research.

I'm pretty convinced both you and your sister are r-slurred and have no idea what you're talking about. I understand nothing about military and I'm fairly certain I would be preferred in a tribunal court given her shit ranking even though I'm only here on shit salary and know jack shit about military

You've been exposed, LARPstrag.

I'm a mildly high ranking personnel at one of the top military research institutes. Even without actually being in the military, her sister could have actions taken for insulting a higher ranking contractor. Granted I would never do that because I would never want my posts or comments to be made aware of and I don't give a frick enough. As long as my superiors never catch wind of this, I have no reason to give a shit outside of drunken posting.

You see, a “real” military researcher wouldn't be going around on a drama forum bragging about his “le ebic and classified” research job let alone mention it at all, unless he feels excruciatingly painful levels of insecurity and is trying to mask that with delusion of grandeur and nonexistent self importance

It seems to me that you're trying to mask this job of yours with varying levels of weird vague claims that no one really gives a frick about.

I swear no one gives a frick about what you do, you could've just claimed that you're a doctor or something basic and moved on with your life, BUT you HAD to LARP as a super secret military researcher doctor in a bond movie.

Get the frick outta here!

You'd be surprised how bored we get. I use this site, some use 4chan, Reddit, Facebook and Twitter. We pick our poison.

If you haven't figured out where I work, you and your sister are r-slurred to not understand how her low rank would never be able to understand the work we do.

I don't care where you work. I just know you aren't a doctor 🤣😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 or a cancer survivor and you have a lot of other tall tales. For your next larp just pick something I can't verify okay 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 stick with cars bc I don't know anything about them

So glad you are so diligent in exposing the LARP

If you actually can't figure out where I work from that comment only confirms you're r-slurred and have no idea what you're talking about. I can't make it more apparent without just saying los alamos labs because that's too hard to figure out and you and your sister have no idea what you're talking about.

But I literally don't care where you (may) work is the thing. I don't care who you actually are. It's just funny how bad you are at making shit up.

Yet you care enough to make this post? :marseyhmm:

You are impressively bad at fricking up info and making assumptions based off of that. I make mistakes and fess up to it but you refuse to acknowledge that maybe you aren't as capable as you think and then drag your sister that doesn't understand military research into the picture.

Also don't think anyone who deals with the military would call an officer “low rank” lol

Jump in the discussion.

Yes, that's low rank when I directly report to the PI who reports to generals and sometimes commander. Sorry, I'm not going to suck the peepee of a person that is only a major. That's not an impressive title to anybody outside military.

Either you are a GS/army civ who is r-slurred and think they are better than greensuiters with 10 times the importance, or you are lying. Everyone knows FGs are of inifinite higher value than contractors and paper pusher GSs

"My clearance is too high up for me to exist on paper"

Dude do you have a problem with lying?

It's literally just a major. That's not a rank high enough to have access to Los Alamos labs proceedings. At best they would need to be promoted to even glance at half the stuff we publish internally.

what do you want me to check out. we live in nova and missAPM was an officer in military medicine for 21 years.

we know everyone in military medicine out here :taychristmas:

im sure someone in DHA can verify this

You are misunderstanding my role. I am not working for their hospital system and never presented it as so. I am simply doing research at a place where that has the highest rate per capita of PhD holders so that should be obvious where I work.

That's actually going to be even more difficult than any doctor claim. At least with med I have a number which found out can be easily traced. Military work in a lab at this level requires general or above status, not being a random pharm rep

You got a TS/SCI?

No idea what that is. I got a civilian badge to enter the base and given my absolutely zero fricks I never bothered to learn acronyms.

there is no fricking chance you work at lanl and don't know what that is

edit: or any similar institution

Jump in the discussion.

I would find that hard to believe as well. the mundane jobs on base that at least require a active clearance would blow most peoples minds. plus, the system is currently backlogged to get new people a clearance rn.

Jump in the discussion.

No email address required.

it's not like there are no no-clearance jobs at all at a national lab but he should be absolutely and painfully aware about lacking one (if for no other reason than needing an escort for every other building) and his work in that case would be entirely public or at most OUO, none of this deep dark government secrets shit he's blabbing on about

I don't know much about labs, but at DHA pretty much everyone has a clearance.

I know jack shit about any of this as I've never worked with the military before. I'm sure it was in my SOPs and part of orientation but not something I cared to read because they mix it in with shit I already know.

Jump in the discussion.

I quite frankly do not believe that you could work in an institution where entering 50%+ of buildings requires you to find someone cleared to drag along to escort you and not Google and/or ask a coworker how the clearance system works and what its different levels are.

I have a badge that gets me to where I need to be. Outside of that I honestly don't give a shit about any of this military bullshit.

Jump in the discussion.

It's not at all just a military thing, tons of civilians who work for contracting companies, doe labs etc. need to get them - but you should know this. Either you're full of shit or you are working some low-security position and have miraculously managed to be aloof enough to never go anywhere or see or talk about anything that relates to clearances, which would be impressive for your first week and unbelievable otherwise.
