In fact there have been multiple New Zealanders deported after having been residence in Australia since very very young. The only reason at the moment, the government tan and will revoke. Your permanency residency status is if you are convicted of a violent crime and sent to prison for more than five years. Don't quote me on the five years that could be wrong, (it's actually 12 months)but yeah serious crimes will have your permanent residency revoked and see you deported the second you finish your prison sent...
