The USA tech market alone is worth more than the entire EU stock market.

Yes but the money is still in an industry not just in a person. Although guessing by your logic you would still be defensive when Musk crosses Germany's GDP

Lmao Musk is on track to lose the most "net worth" in history when even the meme stock tards have to admit Tesla isn't a car company, but a government welfare leech that just sells energy credits.

The previous record holder is that Japanese guy during the dot com bubble I believe.

The bubble is going to the moon baby.

:boomermonster:

Edit: btw I would take that bet coz the stock market got disconnected from reality ages ago. The concept of meme stocks is completely disconnected from all expert knowledge.

It can be disconnected from reality, but there are certain points when even they have to accept reality. Like, you can sure if major car companies start mass producing EVs (not if, when, it's happening no matter what, and sooner rather than later) Tesla will not only have no market share, they'll also stop being able to sell energy credits to the major companies.

At that point what business do they even have?

I mean....name one car out on the market right now that's electric and competitive against a Tesla at the same price range? I cant. So even if one release tomorrow I think it's safe to say it's another 5 to 10 years before they catch up with very high sales quarter on quarter. That's enough time for Tesla to keep its lead so...would you disagree with my assessment?

All of the major car companies are currently developing EVs lol. All of them will be marketing within the next 5 years.

Tesla seems incapable of even manufacturing enough cars or scaling production at all, they've had years to do it and failed.

Developing. Still that 5 year time span.

Agree. But Tesla has been failing its production quotas in a market currently where it is the only provider in its niche. If they fix their supply lines in a 5 year timespan the gap remains consistent. And let's not forget their sales have increased quarter on quarter so far and they also seem to be close to number one when it comes to self driving capabilities (however limited) at their price range.
