I know we have enough ruralcels and rightoids here to recommend me a new foldy knife

I lost my EDC PX foldy knife from back when OIF was still all the rage.

I need a new one, I'm not autismo enough to know about knives or knife companies so I come to you ruralcels and rightoids. I also don't trust /k/ommandos nor redditors on knives.

Only criteria for it is that it is foldy and not spring loaded because commiecuckcel.

Budget max is $200 now because I guess knife inflation.

Spend $20 and get an opinel lol. Solid knives that do an ok job for not much money. I've owned and used my No. 8 for around 15 years.

Never heard of them, however their handles do appeal to some part of my brain that likes wood

Opinels are absolute classic solid folding knives for the man (or foid I guess) who uses their pocket knife on a daily basis.

They're not top tier or anything but they have a solid construction, good edge, and don't even look like a sperg knife on top of all that.

I occasionally do touch grass outdoors and they're cheap enough so I will definitely pick one or three for that free shipping. Plus I won't feel bad if I somehow lose it.

Thanks for the reccie

Yeah Opinel knives are great for the price. Well made and they comply with most state or country laws as you have to physically pull the blade out.

A buddy bought me one as a gift back in '05. Darn solid knife, and I still use it as my primary kitchen knife to this day.
