The reason you will most often see a black male with a white female in an advert like this is because the black male, and males in general, are not the target audience for the company. The target that knit company is trying to reach is the white foid.
So the company is stuck - they have to show their target audience because she wants to see herself represented in the ad, but they also have to be "inclusive and progresive" and need to show "diversity" - so they toss in a black moid to be her partner.
I'll leave it to you to decide on whether or not this explaination is bullshit or not - but also remind you that there's nothing wrong with mixed raced couples, perfectly natural for a young Scottish woman to have a male partner who's skin is so black that he almost looks purple under certain lightings... unless you're a CHUD.

Your explanation is good but why is there a need for so much "diversity"? I'm sure you've noticed every commercial has a black person in it. Canada is 3% black. There are as many mixed race couples as not and they never have a man that's not either black or white. I've seen plenty of Asian women, but no men. And you never see a native unless it's a commericial about natives. What's with all the blackies is what I'm getting at.

This is the problem. I'm not against it, but the fact it's every couple in ads is noticeable. So my problem isn't that it's an interracial couple, it's that it's calculated virtue-signaling and it's pathetic that it works.
Advertisers should have to do some deep-dive psychology shit to get me to buy their product, not lazy pandering to wokescolds who have made diversity = non-white.
