(FWIW, I do think Roe v Wade was a legally flimsy decision and in some ways it's better for democracy if the voters decide. Even heavily Catholic Ireland legalized abortion in a referendum)

Sure, short term. You can make a ball bounce, you can't make it defy gravity. Now that abortion is something you actually have to debate to preserve otherwise in most places it can simply be written out, it will be the topic of much debate.
I think a lot of pro-choicery isn't deeply considered. It's a default setting. But now that can be more than a hypothetical debate. As people learn more about what abortions actually entail I think that tide will shift.
