I wonder if it's maybe them insecure about aging? If they have a young, attractive woman they're seen with and dating then it makes them still seem desirable even though they've exited their β€œprime.” I do think these men, like Jason and Leo, are probably very emotionally immature or want women who are either still figuring themselves out or aren't as ready to settle down as maybe an older woman would be. Not saying all women their age want to get married or are boring, but they definitely won't put up with these men and their antics.

This is also not me saying that younger woman are pushovers or not sure of themselves, it's just that it's easier for an older, more established man to take advantage of a younger woman in her 20s in relationships.
