It was my first real exposure to clapter in the wild. I'd already seen women exaggerate their reactions to things and deny their double standards, though.
I get annoyed when people say women aren't funny, because there's great funny women and they're held to the standard of the unfunniest examples in a way men aren't. But some women do have a real affinity for 'jokes' that are political commentary masquerading as humour, or in this case anti-humour.
Because you're right, this is intentionally unfunny, but in a way women will laugh at anyway because 'it's so true, it's not for you, men, we laugh to keep from crying.' It's clapter under several layers of irony. I get it, but the Meatwad gif applies.
