It's less about "it was wrong for muhammad to do this" and more about "modern-day muslims think there's nothing wrong about it and in fact support libertarianism", which you can see in certain muslim-majority countries where child marriage is quite common (the children are usually the brides)

In Iran and Iraq it's 18+ and married. I don't know about Pakistan and Afghanistan but let's assume they have child marriage, then that still won't be major Muslim countries.
Muslim mb thinking libertarianism is ok but when they live under sharia like in Iran it's pretty hard to pull it off since you get death sentences for it.
That part of their Muslim book is legit their weakness and if they could delete it without anyone noticing it and making fun of them they would do it.
