It's up to the landlord what the rules or requirements are for possible tenants and they don't have to tell you why you were denied.

Family status is a protected class similiar to race, gender or religion in most provinces

in them. Iy's almost like the law is rarely enforced?

I think it’s reasonable to put this rule. A lot of landlords say no pets, and I would argue that a toddler is more of a risk damaging a rental than a cat would be.

Then problem now comes that families cannot rent anywhere. That becomes problematic, especially for single parents.

That's not the issue of the property owner. Especially those of us who have a rental unit in our own home, kids can be noisy and a lot of us would rather rent to professionals without children.

As an owner, your responsability is to rent so that people live there.

What you are doing is unjust discrimination. You are denying families to have a place to live without any valid reasonning behind it.

The reason is I don't want noisy c*nts in my home, c*nts who will break things, things that their parents will try to avoid paying for
