Doctors are fricking weak nowadays

Had a previous resident cry on the phone because he saw somebody kill themselves. Welcome to medicine, shit happens. Only proper advice I could give was move on to the next patient. He's a doctor, we see lots of fricked up shit. Get over it and go back to your job. Just have a nurse clean up the mess.

Oh wow this is just like Gregs anatomy. Very spicy. I bet the next episode will be crazy.

Greys anatomy likes to show doctors in a positive light and milquetoast views. I haven't seen much of it since it focused more on drama and romance but presented basic cases. Didn't show the psychological impact of watching somebody actively killing themselves. That just ends up being experience in a real hospital.

Im more of a Cox. JD is too optimistic. During my IM residency we had to deal with arrogant surgeons so never found my Terk. Only found a hatred of surgeons.

I can't imagine ER docs being as happy as JD. We see the worst of the worst. We aren't happy go lucky PCPs.

No you don't. The medics see even the ones that don't make it to you and they see them in situ. Way to be up your own butt though.

Don't think I've ever heard a patient be called in situ before. We call them presenting patients. In situ is for OB/GYN or fluorescence molecular in the clinic.

I literally did a worst experience series on my main account ranging from lethal threats to patients offing themselves in my examination room.

It's not a medical term it's just Latin r-slur. I thought you doctors had to learn Latin and not just learn how it's used in medicine.
