Happy National Doctor's Day (3/30) to all the APPs!

My hospital has decided to honor the physicians by making posters that have pictures of DO/MD and also NP/PAs… we literally can't even get a day lol. Nurses get a whole week and good for them honestly. But why are we celebrating β€œour medical staff” on doctor's day. It literally is called DOCTOR'S day. Pls

Every other country:

>Oh yeah, Doctors should complete a 4 year course of study like any other degree. We should make sure we have ample spaces in classes for those that want to study.

Burgernesia:

>A doctor should have 4 years of some bullshit degree before they take an arbitrary screening test and are selected via DEI and whatever horseshit current thing makes us look good and not like the crooks we are, for the intentionally limited spots in med school. We should conspire together to reduce spaces if be believe that it will lower our ridiculous fricking salaries. Meanwhile, burgers will invent Nurses and "Physicians Assistants" that functionally operate as doctors because there aren't enough of these twinks.

Yeah but I think most are 4 years classroom and 2 years practice, in the US it's 4 years unrelated undergrad (one Doctor I had was a mechanical engineer before going to med school), 4 years med school, 3-7 years residency, THEN they're finally doctors.
