As small time landlord I often think in mortgage payments when I hear about the stupid shit the renters blow their money on. We have a zoomer couple that is the literal polyamory meme I saw posted here with the died hair, mushroom tattoo and cats. Add to that hundreds of funkos and squish-mellows and constant nintendos.
I mean I am happy they pay the mortgage, but holy shit, why is it so hard to not be a child once you are a "grown-up"?

Like literally I get the beach life but it's so much more worth it to live an hour away from the coast on the hills where you can get so much more acreage at that price point. SoCal or Bay Area this'd work well. No homeless people (and BIPOCs), mansion in the pinnacle of modern civilization, and the coast/life is still close enough for a short a half day trip
