Is it true that being gay is more fun than being a straightoid?

I'm a straightoid. When I see a hot chick I get filled with the desire to frick her. And I don't feel that with guys.

But when I see the gays frolic around it always seems like they're having more fun than straights do. Enjoying life more, more zesty. And it's easier for them to get laid. Is it true that gays have more fun, or is this some kind of statistical bias on my part? Like, maybe I am just often noticing the gays who are having a lot of fun but I don't notice the gays who are not having fun.
