I was stuck in a cold desert for two weeks cause of unprecedented rain. Even wrinkled locals had never seen anything like it. Honestly I didn't see rain that non stop even in the plains, rained for five days straight. Roads were washed away, tourists got stuck in snow. Did I mention it was on the Chinese border?
