Well, we are about 15 years out from the GFC, which is also the span usually associated with a generation in this context. Given that there has not been an equivalent crisis recently, this could just be an artifact of zoomers not having their careers royally fricked up by the 08 recession*. But I also know absolutely nothing about what I'm talking about here.

*for context, I hate millennials and they fully deserved it
