Let's do an actual think like a doctor post. Realistically shouldn't be to difficult.

Patient presents with severe anemia pulse Ox 89%, neutropenia and possible pancytopenia upon blood work. Final diagnosis was stage 4 bladder cancer so how did we end up at that diagnosis?

You removed his old bladder and replaced it with the bladder from a cadaver that recently died from stage 4 bladder cancer

easy, excess bile humor. i'd get a bag of leeches, a sextet of ale, and a vile of balsam specific so we can get his sanguine levels back to equilibrium

tell the nurse to draw blood, then have them run a test, then read the printout that says “STAGE 4 BLADDER CANCER”

I don't think it works like that. We had imagining by urologists, way too much urine and had to do urethral endoscopy which I doubt the patient liked.

Actual what moment. Most of my past patients were anemic and I doubt I hey were bitten by mythological beasts and just have cancer.

Blood count issues lead to thinking there's some kind of bone marrow issue. Imaging for that reveals bladder problem. Pretty simple from there.

urine test is quite common isn't it? so maybe something in that! don't know if there is blood in it when there's cancer. and probably no inflammation markers which would hint towards an infection?

in the end you ended up with the diagnosis by medical imaging. don't know if you used us/pet/spect/mri/ct. or you cut him up

We used ‘please piss in this cup' and sent that urine of to cytology after complaints of urine expulsion hurting. He had other bladder issues which is why he was referred to internal medicine and just ended up being cancer.

For downvoters I will give basic info. We have no info on incoming patients so ending up with something wild is common.
