Very true. The characters aren’t as annoying and cringe as the books. And it’s really nice to not have to slog through so much exposition that goes nowhere. I don’t care about your narrative subtlety or structure or whatever, it’s 2021, I want flash and dynamism

A diverse cast of British people is required in every series, otherwise to have no British representation is a sign of Anglo-erasure.
