@Wizdumb337 yet so I'm going to recommend what we've been talking about: Midnight Mass. Best description I've read is it's the greatest thing Steven King never wrote.
It's a slow burn, existential horror series that is set apart by the phenomenal directing and acting. Special props to the "forgiveness" scene. The acting for that scene was top tier.

I read more books than I watch TV. Almost finished with Pale by JC McCrae. Next up is Seveneves by Neil Stevenson.

I watched The Devil All The Time the other night. It was pretty good. I thought the theme of terrible things happening to good people because they had faith was interesting, and aligned with my own personal experience. I also like epic tales that span decades. However, the plot kind of plodded along at points. The Cuck-Killer arc was entirely unnecessary and did not really connect to the overall theme at all. Pretty sure the only impetus for adding it was so there could be pictures of topless women
. Additionally, the final thing that snapped didn't really tie everything together as well as I had hoped. Overall a 7/10 film.
