I don't see @Wizdumb337 yet so I'm going to recommend what we've been talking about: Midnight Mass. Best description I've read is it's the greatest thing Steven King never wrote.

It's a slow burn, existential horror series that is set apart by the phenomenal directing and acting. Special props to the "forgiveness" scene. The acting for that scene was top tier.

Best show of 2021, IMO.

Mostly TV plots are just awful, Iโ€™d much rather just read a book or u/sexchungus69โ€™s Reddit post history of crushed dreams and failures.

I'm really picky about TV shows. I regularly start something only to stop watching a couple episodes in. I only made it through the first episode of WoT. Stopped Hellbound after the second.

I read more books than I watch TV. Almost finished with Pale by JC McCrae. Next up is Seveneves by Neil Stevenson.

I can't really add anymore to what my boy here has said but to agree with everything. It came out around the same time squid game did so it got overshadowed by it. It's extremely talky but well worth your time.
