You know rewatching Seinfeld it has early prog leanings like Elaine refusing to eat at a restaurant because the thirdie owner doesn't support abortion and the cast talking about gay relationships in what was a very progressive way for the 90's.
Now these are all boomer/xoomer causes that seem quaint now and the rest of the show's writing surrounding was still comedy gold,
But this is still a prototypical example of the media modern wokies made. People like Seinfeld taught the youngins to use media to champion their pet issues. Seinfeld and co just didn't realize their successors would be unfunny and very evangelical about it. It's still their fault though.
