live reports from columbia student radio, they have like 20 people they're broadcasting updates from

cops are currently encircling the hall and breaking down barricades with sledgehammers, students who were forming a human barricade have been arrested, tear gassing protesters, some columbia student passed out (lol) or maybe went limp and made police drag them, ~20 arrests from the hall they took over

[updated] coverage calming down and they're back to playing music for a bit, two buses full of arrested protestors have left, cops seem to have control of the area, there's a sort of curfew and they're threatening to arrest anyone who comes out of university buildings. apparently columbia has requested cops stay on campus until the day after graduation, dunno how that'll turn out
