I do deliveries for DoorDash and UberEats part time while I'm a full time college student and I'm really struggling to get over something I saw on a job yesterday.
I had a small, simple, routine order: Arby's pickup to be delivered like 3 miles away for a $5 payout. I pickup as usual and head to the address. When I get there, I check the app and it says the customer listed it as βmeet at doorβ so I got outta my car and walked up the porch stairs but noticed the front door was slightly opened, enough that I could see almost the entirety of the living room.
Before I was able to knock or call out to someone, I immediately saw a man βpleasuring himselfβ on a chair in said living room. I kinda mentally freaked out, left the food on the ground and just started driving away until I stopped disassociating.
I know I dont have ground for suing and I don't really care about that but I do feel like there was some sort of ill intent with his actions and wouldn't want someone else to be exposed to something from him again. I sent in a report to Uber with the hope of his address being blacklisted from my account so I don't risk going there again but someone else could always pickup his orders. Is there further action I should take?
!gooners we see you, try to order a roast beef sandwich with your trousers above your ankles like a normal person for once.
