The thing is nutty putty case isn't even that special because every caving incident like that is extremely morbid. There's just no other way around it, if something happens to you in a cave you'll be dying a very slow and uncomfortable death from exhaustion or hypothermia.

It's why I will never understand people who do this particular subset of caving where they jam themselves into tight holes. If you really need that adrenaline fix then go mountain climbing or skydiving or something, if a malfunctions happens there at least it will be over quick

If you look into cave diving deaths there are a decent number who find an air pocket and die slowly over the course of a few days weeks
