Why wouldn't it be an identity? Who you're willing to frick is massively shaping to how others treat you and how you connect to others and your self, and that's three out of four of the things that actually matter.

If you don't want to frick anyone, it's a nonissue. Maybe some gossips throughout your life will raise questions about your lack of a partner. Otherwise, nobody cares.

No way the lack of baseline sexual attraction changes how you engage with people. There's that tension and attention underneath the skin of a relationship towards someone you are capable of being attracted to. And its lack changes shit. Especially if unrequited or EXPECTED.
