Honestly, I agree. I haven't played the dlc, but the original game was stupid cheap with the input reading, one shot kills, AOE attacks that covered the entire field, 6 hit stutter combos, ridiculous closing speed, ect. This is coming from someone that was playing demon souls when it first dropped. Why tf would anyone wanna sit there and get angry at their TV for four hours straight trying to beat the same boss. They gotta reign this shit in. G*mers, discuss.

I thought the original game was challenging but not overly hard… until I got to that final boss. It was punishing without being fun at all. I seriously just gave up and watched the endings on YouTube.

Same. I'm too old to be spending 4 hours on the Elden beast shooting bullshit at me across the map and then teleporting away when I finally get up to him. Gave up after about 30 min. What's the point of wasting your time on this? Just to be like "wow I finished the game I feel so accomplished". I already saw the ending cutscene. Not like I'm gonna slay enormous puss at parties after these bitches find out I beat the super hard Elden Ring. Didn't even try Melania. Frick that noise.
