Friday night drunk thread

Apparently I have to write progress notes even though it's just a dumbed down H&P which I give zero fricks about. Just get a scribe to summarize it and the last risk assessment. I'm like 3 4 Locos deep into the night.

We are so fricking back. I took the night off from drinking last night because I had bad kidney pain all day. Felt AMAZING when I woke up this morning so I decided to rage tonight. My foid is spending the night tomorrow so no need to booze. I'll be in tip-top shape for work on Monday.

I've been sober for about a month and legit only had one craving for it in that whole time. I got myself a box of wine a few days ago and it's still there. I'm actually in control of myself now. I can decide that I've had enough and stop.

I'm not gonna tempt fate by doing this often but it's nice to know that I'm not some permanently broken human being like AA tells you. I actually have some willpower and I can use it.

Congratulations! I hate the AA model of 'I'm forever diseased'. Relapse is a possibility but it's not something holding you for the rest of your life and you can reach a mental state where you're capable of drinking without relapse.
