So many teachers are just really good at administrative bullshit. They love it and there's so much of it required to be a teacher. It doesn't mean they're smart in any capacity.

I'm a teacher with 4 years of experience, 10k debt and I make 80k/year :marseyshrug:

Where do you work where you make 80k a year with 4 years of teaching experience? That's really only possible if you live in MA or New York, and therefore you are living with MA and New York prices.

I've been a teacher for 8 years. Am also terrible at administrative bullshit.

CA, title 1 school, I do have my masters, hence the debt. I also hate the administrative bullshit, but there's so much of it just to get in the door.

Where in California? I'm from LA and the number one thing that prevents me from moving back is shit teacher pay in LA unified.

LA Unified is a dumpster fire and I would never teach there. I was guaranteed a job there coming out of my teaching program and I said no thanks. I don't wanna doxx myself, but I'm in the greater LA area. High School, math and comp sci.
