I actually felt kind of sorry for this guy. It was more of a cope to convince himself that it doesn't matter rather than some invitation to steal his stuff. But chuds are too neurodivergent to read between the lines and just took it at face value.

Obviously it's a cope but it's an r-slured and pathetic cope.

Yeah, it's very well-intentioned and he's clearly a nice kind of guy, but it also ignores that for a lot of people, they can't just shrug off having their stuff stolen because that's a lot of money gone and can't be easily replaced. "Oh never mind, I work from home anyways drawing my little webcomics" is a heck of a lot different to "some b-word just stole my purse in the shopping centre with all my week's wages in it".

Even if you can afford it, having your stuff stolen is darn annoying and the thief is not some poor little lamb who just needed the bike right now so they could get to the hospital to visit their dying granny. Stealing is a crime and it's wrong.

Like Seth Rogen saying people shouldn't complain about crime in LA, saying how his car had been broke into a lot but he didn't mind, and once one even left a cool knife in there.
