I've actually farmed a lot of drama from r/knives in my day. Nothing like someone who will spend half a paycheck or more for some custom knife that looks like something you would buy at a flea market or roadside attraction. I've seen people admit to being completely broke because of their addiction to pocket jewelry. It's absolutely the same as Funko collecting and they should feel ashamed.

I have just the regular yellow handled salt which is like a delica in size. From my personal experience a custom knife isn't worth the price and wait most of the time. I've had more than a few and they usually come with buyers regret once you handle them. The Norseman is wildly overpriced for what it is as is the Medford stuff which are gritty and twangy when you open and close them.

Wonderful question and since I have been given the pizza award by @AkumuYume let me go indepth. It's the camera angle that makes them seem so similar. I can assure you that most of the knives pictured have vastly different blade styles but the angle I took them at really doesn't show that. Like the 2 in from the left. (Black handle and satin blade and the tan handle and black bladed one) have similar Wharncliffe style blades that are in fact drastically different in size. Those 2 are honestly the only ones that similar in shape. As for sharpening the steel these are made from doesn't go dull easily and even if it did Id still sharpen them if they got dull. I enjoy sharpening knives.
