A friend of mine that worked for a popular gambling site said there was a very brief period of time you could abuse parlays and win the money of the entire string of bets if you only won the first bet. (So it was essentially winning on 0.1% odds but only betting 20% odds. Meaning you could win $5k on a $100 bet that normally only paid out like $150, lol.)

So the way that this works in my restaurant with a "negative tip" is that now that you've failed to authorize us charging you the full amount; you're now a dine and dasher. We'll call the police, who will then use the card information you just gave us to find your home and meet you there; you'll either be arrested on the spot or given a court date because the "frick you" penalty is that now we're not going to accept you just coming back and paying. You now need a lawyer, which is going to cost you more money than that 3 dollars. You now can't go to work unless you pay bail, if you were arrested.
