Ditto. I was in a situation similar to this with my b-word ex-wife. She was gradually trying to get me to agree to a poly relationship, and I got suspicious about how eagerly she was pushing for it. Checking her phone, I found a sext to another dude. And that's what led to my divorce. Apparently, she was trying to retroactively legitimize her cheating under the blanket of "poly."
Fortunately, I had several STD tests done afterwards and they all came back clean. If I had gotten a serious STD from that b-word's cheating, I would probably have unironically tortured her to death. Somebody who knowingly infects you with an STD is absolute garbage and I don't think they even deserve to be called human.

I appreciate your words of support, king. But as a logical rationalist I try not to go on killing sprees unless I have nothing left to lose. The thing about killing sprees is that you generally don't get more than one, so if you decide to go for it you have to put a lot of thought and planning in how to absolutely maximize your kill count. In other words, if I'm gonna get killed resisting arrest, I wouldn't want it to be just for murdering one person who wronged me, I'd also try to blow up a nuclear plant, take out some planes, and generally cause as much death and mayhem as possible before going down.
Doing all that just because my ex-wife hurt my feelings is silly. As enjoyable as it would be to have one day of totally insane carnage, I have the resources and ability to lead a very fun life and hopefully accomplish all my goals. It would be silly to throw all that away for a short period of fun. Now if my ex-wife had taken that away with her evil narcissism, then my calculations would have to change, obviously.

The other option is if the partner is already in a committed relationship with someone else, your date will likely get their phone/text/phone message โYou and me are NOT exclusiveโ or โIโm seeing someoneโ or โSheโs not right for you.โ
Youโll need to decide how much to share. Thereโs no rule. Some people wonโt share details about their dating life at all, others are open about it.
Itโs OK to ask about their past relationships, to ask what they did in the past.

Sometimes people do get what they deserve, and this dude deserves all of the worst things for putting up with this, and asking Reddit for help. I hope his gf gets pregnant from one of her other boyfriends, and forces him to help raise the child while making sure the kid knows that her manservant is not the father.
