Yeah I'll say it, I will eat bugs with succulent flesh but won't eat ones filled with goo

Squid tentacles was thing that gave me most ick that I managed to stuff down my gullet. I doubt I could eat insects even if I tried tbh

huh really! squid's just very rubbery in texture i guess and not really that uncommon here as food. tbh insects are just visually unappealing and kinda like crisps or chips or something lol

but i can understand the ick when it comes to squid or octopus because i was afraid of those as a kid lol

I figure if they were any good, they would already be a part of the western diet

See how it is never about the bugs as ingredient for cooking but as additive to industrial goyslop processes. :marseyilluminati2:

Look at rabbits & horses. They do taste good, yet aren't part of a tons of people's diet. Same with raw fish (like salmon for sushi).

Similar to birds - my parents have good cookbook from the 70s and it has recipes for various birds. But obviously I have no clue where I would be even able to get those.

They're not bad. Very meaty tasting so it tastes good as it own product (fried crickets, cricket chips, etc) but groce in protein and health bars imo.
