Christians often manage to do both, the American ones I know IRL are pretty :marseydoomer: these days about the way things are trending. Significant uptick in preppers/conspiracy theorists, too, with a large amount of overlap there.
I think they're overreacting in terms of the likelihood of civilizational collapse in the near future unless Taiwan causes US-China to finally happen in the next decade or two (most of the articles I've ever seen predicting war :marseydrum: do actually point out that the impending population collapse gives China a limited window for direct conflict).

In Brazil asians are about as Christian as the rest of the population.
