Does anyone else hate Christmas?

Honestly I hate Christmas. It’s that time of the year I have to buy presents for like 8 family members. Oh and the worse part is they know I make a lot of money so they all expect fancy gifts. For example, last year I gave my mom an expensive Pandora charm and my father like $400 worth of Tommy Bahamas clothes.

Guess what I got? Some socks and a T shirt. In all honesty I don’t even remember if that’s even what I got because it was so insignificant.

I just don’t understand the obsession over Christmas. If it were up to me, we’d just go out to dinner. It would save me at a minimum $1000.

My favorite part of Christmas I think is getting out of the cold butt northeast and going to FL for the entire month, but as far as gifts go, I think this year I am just gonna give out gift cards.

As each family member dies, I engage in Christmas less-and-less. No more expectations, and not even gift cards anymore ... just us offspring and younger generations not caring beyond sending an obligatory text to remind each other we're still alive.

It's quite liberating.
