This damage in western NC is particularly egregious to me because I have a secret bug-out place in the area that I have been planning for years if "the shit ever hit the fan worldwide" I have a place to go. But now, I've got to go check on it and make sure my supplies haven't been ruined.

I have family up there, I texted them after seeing this and thankfully they're just outside of where this happened. I've seen a lot more videos and I can't believe how bad this is. Where do you even begin to fix this?

There's no "fixing it". This is serious damage that will take a long time to repair and rebuild from. I'm probably gonna have to relocate from my current location soon
