A while back when I was on the dating apps, I'd talked to someone for about a week before meeting up for a date at a little taco stand. If she were the same weight as her photos I still would've thought it were a trap and she probably had multiple children to launch that on a first date.

so - to explain - doja is a runner up for azalea banks for being someone familiar with internet hijinks and shenanigans. it should be very well known at this point to recognize satire when someone is impersonating an obsessed fan - it's pretty obvious when the person who was chosen has similar writings about another actress/performer.

even if i were that person why would it matter; it's just a bit for social media. the main thing that irks me is that the alleged person who allegedly won the contest was drawn fair and square and was denied entry without a chance to explain that it was a joke. it's really not even a big deal (and it should be implicitly obvious) that it's a bit and if they were given permission to actually talk about it it would've not been a thing at all.
if anything i guess this was an opportunity to bring "views" to their social media for extra clout but it would've been a lot cooler if this was handled in a different way that was more understandable.
it's just a bit sad that something turned out like this when he enjoyed her music and was a BIG fan and was turned away like that just to be made a spectacle on social media realistically and hopefully it is either resolved soon or fades away i guess
