A man was arrested after his mother was found dead in her home in ReykjavΓk yesterday. The incident is being investigated as a murder, which would mark Iceland's eighth homicide this year. A criminologist has noted that this spike in homicides is unprecedented.
"It is unique in Icelandic history to have eight people murdered in the same year,"
"But what we are seeing this year, and in recent years overall, is more than just population growth. It suggests something is happening in Icelandic society that is fueling such severe violence."

Recently Iceland has kneeled the knee to globohomo and has accepted migrants of every kind, amongst them, negrozuelans, zoomalis, Syrians, etc. They all are people that are somewhat well off, or apply for refugee status in the EU, then go to Iceland for gibs. It is one of the safest nations in the entirety of Europe but I fear it is not the case anymore as recently the government has bvilt a mosque to accommodate for the new arrivals, when twenty years ago it didn't have any mosques whatsoever . The last time a murder made the national and international news was when a greenlandic man killed an Icelandic woman, since it is something unexpected as homocides are few and far in between, much more done do by someone who is not
