I'm 100 percent serious that what originally drew me to rdrama (when it was /r/drama) was that generally people seemed fairly level headed while still being pretty funny^ and retaining free speech principles. Still is the case today, more or less. Get that the above post is a sample size of one event and subjectively selected comments from various platforms on said event, but still.
