Users do not read everyone pings.

The claim that users need to be reminded to include links with screenshots is mostly false, as every image uploaded automatically includes a link to itself.

He may have been referring to including a link to the source of the content in the screenshot, but this is his own interpretation of the vague rules and poses a similar issue to 2A arguments.

People actually don't read the everyone ping because their notifications are flooded with other posts and ping groups. If ping groups and posts were separate notifications then maybe, perhaps...
