The claim that users need to be reminded to include links with screenshots is mostly false, as every image uploaded automatically includes a link to itself.
He may have been referring to including a link to the source of the content in the screenshot, but this is his own interpretation of the vague rules and poses a similar issue to 2A arguments.

Doesn't really matter. A majority would vote to ban a lot of content, so you end up with an ever growing maze of rules to impose without much practical benefit.
I've always been on the side of keeping site rules as simple and concise as possible and letting people simply not click on shit they dislike. Saves a lot of work.

The nature of these kinds of sites is that a majority are disinterested in most content. That's why there's a vote system. Holes partly addressed this but it's no secret that most users aren't interested in many of the holes.
Ask people if they'd like to ban zoomer influencer drama and most would probably agree. That doesn't mean that said content is actually out of place here.
