Christmas is based off the Roman holiday Saturnalia, which while officially was seven days of celebration (started with 3) it inofficially went on for two to three weeks.

Nonsense. At its max length Saturnalia ended on the 23rd. Christmas is the 25th with the Christmas season afterward into January (not before). There's an entirely separate tradition of dating Christmas that has nothing to do with Roman holidays, which began when Christianity was much smaller and had no realistic priority of converting Romans en masse. Furthermore, if Christians were trying to supplant Saturnalia, they would have picked Dec 17th.

Regardless, doubtless as Christianity ascended Romans were encouraged to replace and move celebrations to Christmas and some merging of festive practices occurred, but that's very different from based on. !christians

No, I'm acknowledging that there's a tradition of looking for the date that goes back very early in Christianity, where discussion generally placed it as Dec 25 (but also as March 25th, from Clement of Alexandria). It's proof the dating is unrelated to Saturnalia.

Whether or not the dating is correct is a completely different discussion
