I voted yes, but the election would have been closer. It already favored Republicans. I think the biggest issue would still be inflation. Bussing illegals to blue states shifted people right on the border. The progressives overplayed their hand particularly from 20-22 and people got sick of them. The they/them ad was just a cherry on top.

Trump didn't win, the Dems lost by not putting up any credible candidate in my entire fricking boomer lifetime other than Obama. And I guess Clinton but he was so mixed up in corruption he destroyed the brand for a generation.
They've been pretty peepeeless on domestic issues and completely in-your-face "I am a palace eunuch, I'm wearing the uniform with the little green hat" peepeeless about foreign policy all this time.
I was brought up center-left, I voted for them year after year but they never delivered on anything I gave a shit about. Why? Half of it was because Republicans are traitors who have actively tried to burn this country down, but half is because they will not fight for anything.
