I had 6 unpaid parking tickets when I finished grad school, but since I never paid any of them or got a parking pass, the school couldn't link me to my license plate to stop me from graduating.

In my defense, most of them were because the ticket machine didn't work. I'm not going to be late for class because of someone else's technical difficulties.

Back when I drove I could park in disabled spaces (because of my terminal r-sluration) and I would get b-words coming up to my window telling me smugly I'm not allowed to park there, and asking why I didn't see the handicap sign painted on the ground, and so on. People would also stop their car, lower their window, and yell at me to not park there.

These people are absolute loser busybodies (like @Brevis-Claus) who want to seize the only opportunity they'll ever have in their miserable lives to experience an ounce of power over someone else. They are real word jannies.
