WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A former Robinson woman who plied a 14-year-old boy with alcohol during a party at her home and then had s*x with him was sentenced to 10 years probation Thursday.
Olivarez testified Wednesday that she didn't know it was illegal to give minors alcohol and told the jury that she was drunk, passed out in her bed and woke up with the boy raping her.

The boy testified Tuesday that everyone was drunk at the April 19, 2018, party at Olivarez's former home on Flat Creek Road in Robinson. He said he went to lie down on her bed and she joined him there, undressed and had s*x with him.
Olivarez, who dated the boy's father, also told him not to tell anyone about what happened, he said.

A friend of Olivarez's, Tricia Dawn Volpe, was placed on deferred probation for eight years in March 2022 after she pleaded guilty to indecency with a child following a party at her home that prompted allegations similar to those in Olivarez's case.
