Resisting police and disturbing the peace should not be crimes

ANYTHING you do basically qualifies as this crime. If you don't turn your body to jelly and basically let the cops do whatever they want to you, they can hit you with one of these two charges. If you piss a cop off they will hit you with one of these charges.

It's also complete bullshit when police say that if you have nothing in your car, then you should not fear a car search. BULLSHIT. I've watched way too many bodycam videos to know that you should ALWAYS refuse to have your car searched. The police do not have the right to search your car unless they suspect a crime. However, they will invent ANYTHING for a crime, including "I smell marijuana" even if you haven't been smoking in the car. And don't get me started on police dogs. They will use that to indicate a false positive which gives them probable cause to search your car. Several studies show that dogs frequently give false positives.

Lastly, stop letting cops into your home. They trick you by being friendly at the door, talking to you like nothing's wrong so that when they ask if they can talk indoors, of course you're like "yeah sure". Wrong move. Tell the cop they can keep their butt outside and they can't enter without a search warrant. What buttholes.

Cops are pieces of shit. And yes, that includes your dad, uncle, brother, or whoever else is in law enforcement. They exist to frick over the regular citizen. I've been watching pro-cop bodycam footage and I still think they are buttholes. They love escalating shit, they are so easily offended, and they love throwing their power around and pretending that imaginary laws exist. In this one video, a lady wanted to pee and the male cop would not let her close the door. What a sick pervert.

Lastly, cops shouldn't be shocked that people are difficult and resistant. Like neighbour, you're trying to put this person in handcuffs and throw them in a cage. Regardless of whether they're innocent or guilty, their natural instincts is going to make them resist. The primitive brain doesn't know the difference between "arrest" and "kidnapping".
