Yeah also this might be a hot take but rap just isn't terribly musical, most of the "punch" comes from the lyrics so if you don't understand the lyrics it's just not gonna hit very hard. I mean the music behind the lyrics in the first one you posted is literally just some simple percussion and the same bass note over and over lmao.
