Salvia is unpleasant, sometimes very unpleasant. It can be an interesting experience, but I have never heard anyone say that they genuinely enjoyed their salvia trip. I would suggest you avoid it. It's basically just feeling intensely dissociated for 20 or 30 minutes, with some potential weird tactile and spatial sensations.

I did acid by myself in my basement almost every Saturday for years it's a cheap stimulant that made musical patterns more interesting. Salvia is not a good analog to salvia although I do enjoy me some salvia. Also only alone. Almost everytime I've done salvia I said that I wouldn't do it again because it is VERY intense if you get the super concentrated stuff and hold it in until you leave the mortal plane. Fwiw I would take salvia over acid mostly because I don't have hours to trip but 5 minutes of going to some torturous hellplane is no big deal.
