so what I'm saying is

that because everyone is a sinner, it's impossible for anyone, ever, to share your moral principles.

moral principles are a luxury of a polite society. there is the cynic who says, "moral principles are just an illusion that we must believe in in order to function as a society."

but it's worse than that.

more complicated than that.

they are no illusion.

they are laws of cause and effect of the universe.

moral principles are laws of magic.

moral principles are descriptions of banishing actions, which, if performed successfully, ward off evil.

thus, moral principles are no more illusory than the self.

but when there is no more adherence to moral principles at all in the name of cynicism, when justice itself falls apart, frayed and dissatisfied, this is not order which is brought.

it is chaos.

The necessity of the movement emerges from the attempt by the autocratic despot to secure absolute power. since Trump will cross any and every line, the people will finally be clued to stop him.

in theory.
